Owo bank Robbery; Manager and others killed




Owo in Ondo State today Thursday 26, March 2015 witness a robbery, as a number of robbers numbering about 10 rob several banks and even killed a bank manager on the course of the robbery.



The identities of the people killed were yet to be known, they were shot when they refuse to cooperate with the robbers. The robbers rob three banks; First Bank, Wema Bank and Skye Bank in Owo around 5pm this evening  and made their way with undisclosed sum of money after paying visit to the nearby police station.  The names of the bank manager killed is yet  to be disclosed.

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
