The Tale of a Phoenix

Image
THE PHOENIX BIRD There are various versions of the mythical bird phoenix and the stories varies from one place to another about the phoenix and the type of bird it is. The historian Herodotus (Greek) has his own account about the Phoenix and in his own account; he claimed no one has actually seen the bird except in paintings, in fact the guy was speaking the truth, we only saw a picture of the bird called the Phoenix in Harry Potter and The Chambers of Secretes . It is said that the Phoenix appears every 500-years, that’s very convenient for historian to give an incomplete story, but what is fascinating about the whole issue is that the phoenix’s visits Egypt after his father died. Well now, we got nothing but a bird with some imaginary description Holy Moses!! can you guys tell us more about the bird and we can lay rest our brains about this mystical bird? The fire-bird bird story is as old as most mythology The Assyrians called it the phoenix, this bird lives on fra

The Rise of Boko Haram

Image
The word Boko Haram come from the Hausa language which is most used in the Northern part of Nigeria as mean of communication and performing public functions to the locals there. Boko Haram simple means “Western Education is sinful”. The sects best known as Boko Haram was founded in Northern Nigeria by Mohammed Yusuf in the year 2001. This organization known as Boko Haram is an Islamic Jihadist militant, seeking a “pure Islamic state rule” and putting a stop to westernization. But am thrilled by this sect, if they seek to create a state with pure Islamic rule, then why target the Christian, Governmental institutions, police station and other public places, by so doing I do not think they are achieving their sole aim, set objectives and guys you are not making Nigeria safe for us any longer oooo. Mohammed Yusuf I do not know your motive of creating/forming the organization called Boko Haram, but between 2001 and 2013, 3,600 fellow countrymen have died all in the name of Boko Ha

Nigeria and The Outside World

Nigeria is a country in West Africa, the oldest continent know to man, but the story of it’s population, its citizens and their way of life is not known to the outside world, therefore they seem to tag us with all sort of names and label us the way they seems fit. Notwithstanding we cannot blame them but rather to look at our way of life and it consequences, once a know rapper Tupac Sakur say “you do not see my struggle but only see my troubles” now I understanding what he meant when he says those words.                 Since I am an Nigerian born and raised, never step out of the shores of the country I could not speak for those that are out there living large and big, but back home we all are doing good, most of which are left alive by the reign of terror by BOKO HARAM.                 Curiosity is said to kill the cat, but I wander in the first place what makes the cat curios, so it befalls me, the cats wants to know about what is, and see for real that is n

July 17, 2013.  The Nigerian Senate just approved language that would remove the protection for young women and girls from repeatedly being rape in the guise of early marriage.  New York-based Guttmacher Institute's study reports that the Nigerian authorities have been failing to implement sexual health education for decades and now, the Nigerian Senate has made it part of the Nigerian Constitution to give adult men the right to take any young girl as a wife, even as young as ten years old.
