It was around 2:30 pm, a female bomber exploded a bomb at the Kano State Polytechnic killing at least six people. The Kano State Police commissioner Adenrele Shinaba confirmed the blast.  The blast took place as graduates are checking NYSC posting list, she ran to them and detonate the bomb killing herself in the process. The bomb-blast took place at the administrative block of the Kano State Polytechnic. This can be said indeed, a tragic situation for a graduates to die soon after going through rigorous training to be useful members of the society and their family at large to end up being blown up.

The clash between the Nigerian soldiers and the Muslims Shiite group today in PZ area of Sabon Gari-Zaria left five dead. Details of this event is still not clear, but can be said to be due to the impatient nature of the Nigerian Army Troops after waiting for about 35minutes when the Shiite Muslims   have block the road during an annual procession called “Quds Day”.
