The snake was kept in Bascoules’s family bathtub over night after being blindfolded. He said he did that because, it was late after catching the snake to re-home, so he decided that the snake spend a night in the residential area, thus in his family home.   His wife was worried that the snake may escape from the bathroom during the night but it did not.
