Afghan woman beaten to death for setting fire on a Koran



In the heart of Kabul near Shah-e Doh shamshira shrine and mosques, 27 years old Farkhunda was beaten to death and set on fire by mob and thrown into a muddy river in the Afghanistan capital for setting Koran on flames.


The parent of the deceased have told the police that their daughter had suffered with mental illness for many years  and she had no intentions of burning the Holy Quran, though now, it is being confirmed that fire fighters came to the scene, and put the flames off her  death body and have taking her remains away.

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
