These men have committed to peace; Jonathan and Buhari




The captioned at the bottom of the vanguard news paper today the 19th March, 2015 got me thinking about many ignorant Nigerians who are on the streets shouting “sai Buhari !!!!” sai Jonathan !!!!”  carrying machete in their hands and killing their neighbours in the name of politics.


Let me be clear about this, the politicians you see on television fighting each other are actually doing it for their diabolical reasons, while the masses who knows nothing of their ambitions in life, go about killing each other in the name of PDP and APC.


Now if Buhari and President Jonathan could huge each other, even if it is for a second to share a common grounds of peace, why can’t we Nigerians, well meaning Nigerians, that claims this is our fathers' land, leave in peace with his neighbor?

I may be young and so naïve !!, but I know one thing for sure, it is the same man that during the military regime was a dictator and now claims to be a “converted  democrat”, so does this means, that he has renounced his ways and now want something good to come the way of the average Nigerians who cannot provide three square meals for themselves?

No matter what their intentions are, i would want all meaning Nigerians to try and leave in peace and harmony, treat each other as brothers and sisters keeping politics aside for the benefit of this country, that’s ALL I YEARN FOR !!!!

Prison Break !! 144 Inmates freed

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
