Attacked and killed seven members of ex-cop in Barakin Ladi area of plateau State




The attack took place around 11pm to 12am on Monday in Sabon Layi Area  of Barakin Ladi Local  government Area  of plateau State.


The victim was former police officer Lagun  Jacobs, he lost his parents, brother, wife and their two children and another relative in the attack. The killing was said to be the aftermath of the attack by some alleged youths on two Fulani travelers that were killed.

The State Chairman  of Miyetti Allah Cattle  Breeders  Association  of Nigeria MACBAN  Alhaji Haruna Hussaini confirmed that a Fulani woman and her companion have being killed by Berom mob on Sunday

The Chairman  of Barkin Ladi Local  Government Area LGA Emmanuel Loman has confirmed that

 “the attack by the Fulani started since last week in some villages and continued again yesterday (Sunday) around 11pm when Baba Jacob and seven members of his family were attacke by the same fulani” 

and now it is clear that a single person has survived the attack and undergoing treatment at the hospital

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison.
