Boko Haram hideout in Kaduna State Raided




The incident took place at 4 Fulani Road Ugwan Dosa area in Kaduna state Nigeria. The suspect Mallam Muhammed Mai Borno who recently moved into the resident last year with his wife is allegedly said to be a Boko Haram leader.


The raid of the house of the said Mallam Muhammed Mai Borno was  coordinated by the Nigerian Military, Department of State Service and the Nigerian Police, but the suspect and his wife are said to have escape using the cover off escape route that they have created in the house prior before the raid and covered it with a painted cartons.

Resident around the house said the allegedly Mallam Muhammed Mai Borno that moved in the neighbourhood  has always being travelling and when he is asked about the where about of his kids, he also claim they are in school in the North-Eastern part of the country.

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
