Ahmadu Bello University Car II (ABUCAR II)


Ahmadu Bello University ABU Zaria, development of Car  II is completed. The Department of Mechanical Engineering in collaboration with Shell Eco Marathon Team are presenting their new car made from the small engine of a motorcycle popularly called “Waiyu  Kudina”

The Car was designed by the Mechanical Engineering Department, developed and now in some few minutes will also be driving by the same people. The test drive will start at the Famous Queen Amina Hall opposite Social Centre.

Today being the 13 March, 2015 by 2:30pm will it commence,  at the time off this post the car is yet to be driving so that the student ABU will see if their hard work paid-off. i only have the oppurtunity

Prison Break !! 144 Inmates freed

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
