Alex Otti Abia State Gubernatorial candidate and his team attacked




The candidate for the Gubernatorial candidate for All Progressive Alliance  Alex Otti and his team of supporters were attacked and brutally wounded when a group of thugs with machetes and guns at Ndioru village, Ikwuano Local Government Area LGA of Abia State.


He was attack at the town hall meeting at Ndioru Village and his attackers whom are said to be thugs were  armed with machetes, guns and stones, his convoy cars were some damaged, and his supporters injured.

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
