A.B.U Zaria Students left school in fear of election



The site in Ahmadu Bello University ABU Zaria main Campus Samaru was a shocking one today Thursday as most of the students have packed their bags and travelled home to their parents as election is on Saturday 28, March 2015.

The school is empty, with only but few brave students or rather those that could not go home. It is a disappointment this evening in ABU Zaria as most of the student left the school, lectures and other academic activities are all put on-hold.

Well we pray for safety, and journey mercies as all you who have travelled returned back home to your loved ones safely.

Prison Break !! 144 Inmates freed

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
