Two, and Four others Dead in Kano Market



Four persons and two female sucide bombers were killed in Kano popular market, Kantin Kwari  said the police commissioner of kano state in person of Aderele Shinaba. The two female bombers were masquerading as shoppers before the blast. 

The two bombers started quarrelling with some merchants and drawing attention to themselves   and shortly after that, the explosion detonated killing the two women and four other persons

Abdullahi Abubakar the secretary of the market syndicate said the first bomber struck near the toilets at about 2:30pm and  the second attack just after.
A number of people were injured and currently undergoing treatment at Murtala Mohammed Specialist hospital

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
