Girls arrested near Kano Kantin-Kwari wearing explosive vest



Met Zahra’u Babban Gida, she claims she was abducted from Bauchi and she was unconscious until when she was released by her kidnappers and strapped to an explosive vest. 

“Officers arrested the girl based on suspicion of her movement” says the Kano State  Commissioner of Police Alhaji Tashid Aderile Shinaba, she was taken to the Police  headquarters for investigation, where they were joined by the State  Security Service (SSS)

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
