A woman was arrested for allegedly shooting at her married boyfriend in Dobsonville Soweto



The woman 30yrs, allegedly attempted to shoot her boyfriend on Wednesday night after they argued about him visiting his wife for Christmas and spending some quality time with her.
He wanted visiting his wife for Christmas but the girlfriend refused, he packed his bags but she stood on his path out of the house, thus she pulled a gun and fired at him and missed, he ran out and reported to the police and she was arrested.
The firearm; “it was established the gun belongs to her friend who is a police officer”

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
