Detained Russian Cargo Plane Released



France has claimed ownership of the detained Airplane at Aminu Kano International Airport. The plane was given a diplomatic clearance by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja. The plane was forced to land   because of forced dense air traffic at Njamena airport Chad. 
 The French Ambassador to Nigeria Jacques Champagne de Labriolle, in a statement delivered on Sunday denied that the plane was carrying arms and ammunitions, but stressing that the airplane was conveying two light Gazelle Helicopters, spare  parts and maintenance items belonging to the French Army.

Jacques said the official information have being supplied by the French Embassy in Nigeria, and the Federal and airport authorities checked and confirmed the documents, so therefore the plane is cleared to pursue its fight to Ndjjamena.

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
