Philadelphia Train derails that leaves 6 death




Six people have been confirmed dead and 146 others injured after an Amtrak Train carrying 248 passengers and five crew members going to New York Washington DC.

Mayor Michael Nuttler of Philadelphia said  the incident was as a result of the separation of the engine from the main train.

“This was an absolute disastrous mess. I have never seen anything like it in my life. Many of these folks are not from Philadelphia. It is a devastating scene down there. We  walked the entire length of the train area, and the engine completely separated from the rest of the train, and one of the cars perpendicular to rest of the cars. It’s unbelievable. We do not  know what happened here. We’re not going to try to speculate about that”  said the Mayor

The incident took place around 9:45pm yesterday and now the incident is under investigation

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
