Fani-Kayode fate decided on June 18



A Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday fixed June 18 for Judgment in an allegedly money laundry case filed against a former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode by the Economic  and Financial  Crimes  Commission  EFCC

The case was adjoined to June 18 by Justice Rita Ofile-Ajumogobiia, earlier at the resume of the hearing on Monday, counsel to Fani Femi-Kayode led by Ifedayo Adedipe (SAN) urged the court to dismiss the two-count charge against the accused as well as discharge and acquit him.
We await the hearing on the 18th of June  to decided the faith of Fani-Kayode FFK, will FFK be found guilty or not we await June 18th.

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
