APC Governor looking colourful in Abuja



The All  Progressive  congress APC  Governors in the pre-inauguration retreat held in Abuja on Tuesday night. The meeting was held behind closed doors, in the meeting both the out-going and the in-coming governors were at the meeting except for Kaduna State governor-elect Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.

A communiqué issued after the retreat of the APC governors says that the governors agreed to embark on a peer review mechanism to facilitate and replicate governance strategies and policies in all the APC-controlled states. The retreat was declared opened by Prof. Osinbajo

Prison Break !! 144 Inmates freed

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
