Jonathan Present Handover notes to Buhari



The president of Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan today present the president-elect Mohammadu Buhari with the handover notes and reports of the National CONFAB. see pictures
The presentation was done inside the Council Chamber of the presidential Villa, Abuja. This was done shortly after taking the President-elect round the seat of power.
The vice president, Namadi Sambo also handover a similar document to Vice-president-elect Yemi Osinbajo. President  Jonathan said his administration has done its best for the country Nigeria, and the president-elect Mohammadu Buhari commended Jonathan for conceading defeat in the March  28 presidential elections

Prison Break !! 144 Inmates freed

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
