Irregularities and Low turnout of Voters in Imo elections



There have being serious irregularities and low turnout of voters at  Imo elections today, Oru East local government area having the major polling units INEC officials were arrested while thumb printing ballot papers in favour of one political parties.

Fakes INEC officials were also arrested posing as Returning Officers at the Collation Centre. Mike Igini Edo State Residential Electoral Commissioner  says the so-called-INEC-Officials were arrested at Umumma Primary school Ward 10 Polling Unit, 008, polling Unit, 003 polling Unit  and three other.

Prison Break !! 144 Inmates freed

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
