Heavy toll after Boko Haram recent attack on Niger Army

In an island base in Lake Chad, the raid by members of the insurgent sect Boko Haram  from all angles have take a heavy toll on the Army.
The members of the sect came out in all direction, with motorized canoes and attacked the island of Karamga which is located North-west of the town of Bosso.
The clash took place yesterday the 25th April, no report as of this time of the number of causalities as a result of the raid.

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
