Female suicide bomber launches deadly attack on military checkpoint in Borno State



A female suicide bomber today killed four people at a military check point in Borno, the incident took place at Sabon Gari area of Damboa, a town in Damboa local government area of Borno state.

The female suicide bomber killed herself and four other people,  various people sustained injuries. Among the dead  are two members of Joint Task Force JFT.
The incident took place at about 10:30 am this morning; this place is about 90 miles from Maiduguri the state capital

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
