Nigerian Air force intercepts and destroyed Boko Haram Transport trucks



Two trailers suspected transporting logistic for the sect Boko Haram was intercepted and destroyed by the Nigerian Air force Agusta Helicopter on armed reconnaissance mission around Nigerian-Cameroon Border.

These trailers were packed and covered at different location in the bush in the border town Bele. The ground Forces  of Nigerian is being led by Chief of Army staff Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai and the Chief of the Air Saff CAS Air  Marshall  Sadique  Abubakar.

However as the fight between the Nigerian military and Boko continues NAF 260, a Mi-24V attack helicopter was hit during the operation and has since being repaired and is back in the field of duty.

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
