Abubakar Shekau is alive says Journalist Ahmed Salkida



Ahmed Salkida is one journalist who reported extensively  about Boko Haram, he is now saying that the leader of the insurgent sect Abubakar Shekau is still alive.
If we may remember, the leader of the sect was last seen in March  when he released a statement and pledging allegiance to the Islamic State  of Iraq and Syria ISIS. Rumors  has being circulating that maybe the leader have being killed in, also the Chadian president Idriss Deby  on August 11th also fueled the rumor of the death of the sect leader, but now Ahmed  is saying otherwise

Prison Break !! 144 Inmates freed

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
