Goodluck Jonathan; I have fulfilled my promise on power sector






Today Friday the president of Nigeria Goodluck Ebele Jonathan have made it clear to  Nigerians that he has fulfilled his pledge on power sector. He made this statement during the inauguration of Olorunsogo II power Station in Ogun state Nigeria.

“I have live up to my campaign pledge to make the power sector a priority”  and in his remark, he told Nigerians that the short interface between public ownership of power sector to private sector would soon be over and Nigerians will begin to take the power for granted in the next two years.

We just hope this is for real Mr. President

Prison Break !! 144 Inmates freed

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
