Boko Haram is not a Northern problem alone Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida



The former Military Head of State General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida IBB has urged Nigerians not to see Boko Haram as a regional problem alone but as a problem that is affecting the whole country Nigeria, he made this known when he was visited by members of Arewa Citizens Action for change on Sunday at Minna.

“Nigeria is under insurgency not only north east. Nigerians should see it from that perspective and for that; they should support the military to end the insurgency”

Thus it is safe to say that, the country is under attack by insurgency that have damage the image of Nigeria in the world and has put a setback in our economy

Prison Break !! 144 Inmates freed

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
