The raid by Cameroon free German hostage held for the past six months by Boko Haram


The recent raid by the Cameroonian soldiers has helped in freeing a German citizen that has been held captive by the insurgent Boko Haram for the past six months. He was captured in Nigeria and held captive until he was freed.

The German with the name Nitsch Eberhard Robert who was captured in July 2014, no further details were given about the raid and the number of people freed by the Cameroonian raid, though in the Boko Haram recent video, Abubakar Sheku  has challenged and said “African kings…  I challenged  you to attack me now. I am ready”

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
