As thugs stone president Jonathan’s convoy in Katsina; security agents fire tear gas


The security personal attached to the president yesterday fired tears gas to crowd as political thugs Katsina attack the president convoy. The crowd were shouting “Sai Buhar” as they try to reach close to the convoy of the president.

GEJ is in the state for campaign and visiting the mother of the late President Umar Musa Yae’adua when the incident happen, but it should be noted that Katsina is the home of the presidential aspirant GMB of the All Progressives Congress APC.


The youth struck back at the president also while he was leaving late President Yar’adua home in Katsina, they block his route which took the firing of tear gears to clear his way.

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
