14 pregnant teenagers, 8 children rescue in Abia by soldiers




The 144 Battalion soldiers in Asa,  Ukwa West Local Government   Area of Abia State has rescued 14 pregnant teenagers and eight children from Umunkpeyi Nvosi in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area in  a motherless babies home which has being approved as a motherless home but they engaged in illegal business  of child trafficking.

hiring men to in pregnant the teenage girls. The delivery of each girl is N20,000 and the selling of a child is between N80,000 and N150,000 for females and males respectively

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
