Cattle rustlers deserve to be executed say Emir of Kano



Sunusi Lamido II, the Emir of Kano  says that cattle rustlers deserve to be executed for all the havoc they are caused and they are causing.
Speaking at the presentation of 72 suspected cattle rustlers  arrested in Falgore  forest in tudun Wada  Local Government Area  of Kano  state yesterday October 18th,
“These people are suppose to be executed in accordance with Islamic laws because they have killed, raped and robbed people of their cattle and their valuable items. I therefore call the police to do the right thing in accordance with the law”

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
