Negotiator Heads to Chad to Continue Ceasefire Talks with Boko Haram



The Nigerian delegation will be heading out to continues discussion with the members of Boko Haram in the Chad. This is as a result of the announcement made by the Nigeria’s Military  Chief Air Marshal Alex Badeh last week.

An unnamed source confirmed that the secretary of the President  Hassan Tukur will meet up with the Chadian President Idris Deby to continue the discussion of ceasefire.

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
