Boko Haram Seize Mubi Army Headquarters



The 234 battalion headquarters in Mubi have been seize by the insurgent called Boko Haram, these came after months after taking Michika and several important towns in Adamawa state in Nigeria.
Resident of the town flee from the town, the Military of the 234 battalion exchange fire and later ran away as soon as more  Boko Haram members came with better Arsenal.
This recent news get us thinking about the issue of the ceasefire between the members of Boko Haram and the Nigerian Military.

Prison Break !! 144 Inmates freed

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
