Total Traffic chaos: Tankers and trailers at Oshodi-Apapa Expressway



This is the climax of traffic so far on Oshodi-Apapa Expressway as tankers, trailers and other articulated vehicles take over from Rainbow to the Mile two/Berger/Kirikiri axis of the road leaving other road users in a limbo.

The event took place Wednesday and Thursday leaving people with hopelessness expression on their faces as they stay trapped in the traffic. The Apapa-Oshodi Expressway is a total of 27.5km road but was covered in traffic as it can be seen from the image.

The governor of Lagos  State Nigeria  Babatunde Fashola appeared to be baffled as he visited the chaos traffic on the road.
