Nigerian Military chased out of Lake Chad by over 2,000 Boko Haram members
The is unbelievable
as reports now shows that, many Nigerian military were forced out of Marte, a
border town along the shore of Lake Chad
by suspected Boko Haram members.
A local
community leader Imam Habeeb says
“The
terrorist, numbering over 2,000, appeared from various direction on Thursday and
engaged the soldiers in Kirenowa town
and adjoining communities in Marte…. They fought with soldiers over the night
and fight continued today (Friday), forcing
hundreds of soldiers to flee”
These claims
was confirmed by a senior local politician who remain anonymous for some reason
and refuse to confirm if the town is retaking by the insurgent Boko Haram
