Olusegun Obasanjo Son Shot in Mubi by Boko Haram



The attack by the militant on the platoon let by the former  Nigerian president son Obasanjo, let to the son serious leg injuries and being transported to the hospital for the time been.


Obasanjo lieutenant colonel of the 3rd Division in Jos, today was engaged with Boko Haram at Baza the village of the 3rd General  Officer Commanding (GOC) of the division when he was injured.

24 soldiers were reportedly killed in the platoon by the insurgent Boko Haram, the Army has also lost an armored tank, the town of Mubi  has being desert following the closure of schools and massive retreats of soldiers from the city, though according to family source, the incident take place while the former president is on trip to Singapore.

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
