70 militants Killed, Bama Under Attack by Boko Haram



The insurgent who came on a mission  of attack to Bama  town in Maiduguri and had a clash in the earlier hours of today first September with the Nigerian military had 70 of their members killed during the clash  with Nigerian Army.
 A local vigilantly   named Abbas Gava says that 70 members of the insurgents Boko Haram  died today during the clash with the Nigerian military and have injured about 30 of the militants. The Defence Headquarters in  Abuja is yet to confirm the figures for causalities. Meanwhile  curfew in Maiduguri is now by 7pm to 6am

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
