Islamic Caliphate Gwoza Declares Boko Haram



Abubakar Shekau, the Boko Haram leader in a 52 minute video made available to the AFP  declared Gwoza town  in Borno State and Islamic Caliphate.

 Gwoza was seized  early this month by the insurgent know as Boko Haram . Abubakar Shekau declared that Gwoza has nothing to do with Nigeria.



Shekau “We have come to stay, thanks  be to Allah who gave our brethren victory in Gwoza and made it part of  the Islamic caliphate. We are not leaving by the grace of Allah”.
The Nigerian military has reacted to Shekau, that his claims are empty, thus military operation to secure Gwoza is still on the way.

Shekau is now branded a global terrorist by the United States (U.S)

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
