Fleeing Nigeria troops are back



The fierce battle between the Nigerian troops and Boko Haram which made the troops to flee to the neighboring country Cameroon are now back. The troops came back through Mubi, Adamawa State. This troops are said to be around 480, most of which were looking haggard and wearing tattered clothing.


This soldiers fled a Boko Haram attack in the border town of Gamboru when they came in contact with  the insurgent called Boko Haram. Major General Chris Olukolade confirmed the return of the Nigerian troops but fail to state where they are.

It is shocking, when the resident of Mubi saw the Nigerian troops, at first panic, only to discover they are actually Nigerian troops whom ran away from Boko Haram, some of which have their weapons while others do not. They were all over the place looking for food to eat, what a pity

Prison Break !! 144 Inmates freed

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
