Kano State Polytech 6 Dead



It was around 2:30 pm, a female bomber exploded a bomb at the Kano State Polytechnic killing at least six people. The Kano State Police commissioner Adenrele Shinaba confirmed the blast. 

The blast took place as graduates are checking NYSC posting list, she ran to them and detonate the bomb killing herself in the process.

The bomb-blast took place at the administrative block of the Kano State Polytechnic. This can be said indeed, a tragic situation for a graduates to die soon after going through rigorous training to be useful members of the society and their family at large to end up being blown up.

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
