150 drowned, others shot dead while running from Boko Haram in Yobe

150 people drowned in a river while others shot dead, this is the aftermath of
Boko Haram when they attacked
Kukuwa-Gari village in yobe state last Thursday August 13th.
"They opened fire instantly, which
forced residents to flee. They shot a number of people. Unfortunately many
residents who tried to flee plunged into the river which is full from the rain.
Many drowned.

Balumi a resident of the village told AFP that while people were drowning in
the river, a fisherman tries saving them but was also shot to dead by the
gunmen.
The news
took five days to surfaced, this is because Boko Haram have destroyed the
telecommunication masts.
