Philadelphia Train derails that leaves 6 death
Six people
have been confirmed dead and 146 others injured after an Amtrak Train carrying
248 passengers and five crew members going to New York Washington DC.
Mayor Michael
Nuttler of Philadelphia said the
incident was as a result of the separation of the engine from the main train.
“This was an absolute disastrous mess. I have
never seen anything like it in my life. Many of these folks are not from
Philadelphia. It is a devastating scene down there. We walked the entire length of the train area,
and the engine completely separated from the rest of the train, and one of the
cars perpendicular to rest of the cars. It’s unbelievable. We do not know what happened here. We’re not going to
try to speculate about that” said
the Mayor
The incident
took place around 9:45pm yesterday and now the incident is under investigation
