Hundred of Charlie Hebdo protestant clash with police in Pakistan outside French embassy
As the clash between the police
and hundreds of protestant, a picture of a photographer bleeding fro the chest after being shot in Pakistan as
protest turn to violent. AFP photographer named Adif Hasan was shot as
protestant took to the streets outside the French consulate in kurachi.
Hasan conditions were at first thought
to be very serious but he is now recovering, the bullet struck his lungs and
passed through his chest, after
undergoing surgery, his life is said not to be in danger any longer and he is
recovering.
It is not sure if Hasan is accidentally
shot at or being targeted with two other people said to be injured. This incident
comes a day after Prime Minister Nawaz
Sharif led parliament in condemning the cartoons published by the magazine
whose staffs were attacked, the Charlie Hebdo massacre that resulted into the
death of 12 people.
Tear gas was used, water cannon, and two shots
fire in the air to disperse people from entering the French Consulate in Pakistan.
Religious leaders had called the magazine journalist to be hanged and urged
their followers to join the protests.
