Army detains 44 soldiers in underground cell in Jos plateau




The 44 held in an underground cell in Jos plateau were part of those that were stationed in Mubi Adamawa State when the town was captured by Boko Haram last October. The  soldiers held are those who fled the their barracks and refuse to engage the insurgent.

The soldiers that fled include five staff Sergeant, two Sergeant, five Corporal, 18 Lance Corporals and 14 private among those who refuse to engaged the insurgent on October 28, 2014. They are arrested and detained for 10 days  and transferred to an underground detention cell in Jos.

The charges for the soldiers have not being known yet
