Boko Haram slaughters 5 in Adamawa state on Independence day

village of Madagali Local Government area of Adamawa state early hours of today
was attack by suspected members of the Boko Haram sect, slitting the throats of five villagers,
among which are three women and two men.
The sect
are said to have operated for some hours in the village because there are no
military men stationed in the village. The village is said to share border with Sambisa forest
