Igbo traders supplying Arms and ammunitions to Boko Haram
Three men
of Igbo origins who are heading to the North
from Imo State Nigerian were intercepted in Nsukka, Enugu by men of the Nigerian Army.
The men were
found to be carrying 40 AK47 magazines, 4 boxes of AK47 live ammunitions, 100 pieces
of live cartridges, one piece of Denim Mopol Khaki and charms concealed in a
cap.
Among these
men is a police corporal who ran away according to an Army officer who spoke on
the grounds of anonymity “When we asked
the occupant of the vehicle to come down, we discovered a police corporal in
uniform among them. The corporl on getting down pretended to be pressed; he
later ran away.”
