Chibok girls are in Gwoza
The more
than 200 girls that have being abducted by the Boko Haram sect are said to be
in Gwoza. This information was made public by a freed woman after eight months of
being in captivity. The woman whose name is Mbutu Papka, she stumbled upon the girls when
she was transferred from a poor condition in Mdita to a fairly tolerable
facility in Gwoza where the girls are held captives.
The 56
years old says
“the security in the area
where the girls are kept is visibly different and much tighter”
“We had a normal life in Gwoza, except the
trauma of living in captivity. Whatever we wanted to eat they were provided. They
would bring water, firewood etc. and leave them outside. They even provided
perfume for anyone who requested for it”
Papka
said while in captivity, they were not
raped nor assaulted and the insurgent lives with their wives and children
in Gwoza camp, she was released by the sect on March 15 and driven home on a motorcycle and asked
to pay N8,000 which her family did
