5 arrested by Police in Azare, Bauchi bomb Explosion
The deaths of innocent people in
the Northern States of Nigeria continues, thirteen people dead from todays’ deadly bomb attack on Azare in Bauchi state. Emmanuel
Ojukwu the Public Relationship officer says ten more people have suffered
various degrees of injuries during the explosion that rocks Azare Bauchi State.
Emmanuel Ojukwu said detectives
have stated investigation into the matter that lead to the death of the
thirteen people and left about a dozen injured, on the course of the investigation
five people have being arrested, and due
to some reasons, the identities of the
suspects have not being released to the general public.
The explosion took place at the
premises of the First Bank branch of the Azare town in the earlier hours of
today. The blast was said to have occurred close to the Automated Teller
Machine (ATM) of First Bank as customers are queuing to make withdrawals at
around 9:00am
