Mubi Recaptured, Boko Haram Chased out



It is quite an effort by the Local militia in Adamawa State, nearly two weeks after the fall of Mubi to the insurgent called Boko Haram, the local militia have successfully driven out the insurgent form Mubi, this was stated  a spokesman of the Governor Bala Ngilari who told PREMIUM TIMES THURSADY. 
 The local vigilant know as Civilian JTF on Wednesday and Thursday night launched a night attack on the sect and was able to drive them out, with the help received from the Military,  but so far the Defence  Headquarters  could not confirm the operation.
Governor Bala Ngilari has confirmed the effort of the civilian JTF and Sarkin Bakan Gombi , the military for cashing the insurgent out of Mubi and now the town if free for a while

Kogi state prison called Koton-Karfe on   Sunday night had an episode, that left the prison gates open and the inmates out on the street. Koton-Karfe is   said to be the home for armed robbers and murderers whom out of 145 inmates, 144 are said to have escape and found their way back into the society.  The Prison Break was facilitated by external attack on the prison around 9:30pm   and 10:00pm said Adams Omale the State Controller of Prison. The correctional facility was ransacked and its ceiling shattered with one of its inmates dead. 12 of the escape convict were apprehended and brought back to Koton-Karfe, these event of Prison Break took place Sunday night. After the event has piped down, the governor of the state today being Monday (03/11/2014)   pays a visit to the prison. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Prisons service Aminu Suley also visited the Prison to witness the aftermath of the Prison Break of Sunday night (02/11/2014).
