Boko Haram Seize Mubi Army Headquarters

The 234 battalion headquarters in Mubi have been seize by the insurgent called Boko Haram, these came after months after taking Michika and several important towns in Adamawa state in Nigeria. Resident of the town flee from the town, the Military of the 234 battalion exchange fire and later ran away as soon as more   Boko Haram members came with better Arsenal. This recent news get us thinking about the issue of the ceasefire between the members of Boko Haram and the Nigerian Military.  

Heroic Sergeant Moments after Killing Michael Zehaf-Bibeau

Kelvin Vickers, the 58 years old Heroic sergeant was seen moments after gunning Michael Zahaf-Bibeau. Kelvin Vickers was hailed a hero after putting a quick stop to the Canadian   Parliament shooter Michael Zahaf-Bibeau.   After gunning Zahaf down, he was seen walking calmly with his gun in his arm. Kelvin has being the security head, to   the House of Commons since 2005 and would not want history to remember him as the guy who stood and watch as Michael Zahaf-Bibeau   made history of shooting in the House of Commons.

4 Women Jailed For Preparing Sons to Wage Jihad War

Four women have being jailed for preparing their sons to fight Jihad and for supporting Al-Qaeda in Saudi Arabia. They were sentenced to six and ten years in prison says the Saudi Press   Agency on Wednesday. The women were charged with “preparing some of their sons to fight in conflict areas believing that it is required by Islam” , “supporting Al-Qaeda” and also accessing blocked internet sites and downloading “audio-visual materials related to fighting”  source vanguard

Bauch state Bus station, Five killed

 The latest negotiations with the Boko Haram members in Northern Nigeria has not been moving well, a bomb blast at Azare   bus station in Bauchi Northern Nigeria has left five dead and several people injured.  The police in Bauchi   has confirmed the bomb blast that took place in the night, the huge explosion took place at the Azare bus terminal around 9:45pm. Mohammed Haruna the police spokesman said the bomb blast killed five people, leaving them burnt beyond recognition but with no clue   of the type of explosive used at the bus terminal.

Serena Biggest Defeat in 16 years

Concerns about a knee injury mat have cost Serena Williams her heaviest defeat in 16years of her career as she won two games. The 18-time Grand slam champion was a shadow of herself as she slumped 6-0, 6-2 to Romania’s Simon Halep. “oh, God no. I’m definitely not 100 percent okay. I’m just here playing but I’m not nowhere near 100” said Serena when she was asked about her knee injury. The defeat ended the run of 16 straight victories, Ana   Ivanovic on the other hand maintained her semi-final hopes with a 6-1, 6-3 win over an out of sorts Eugenie Bouchard.

Buhari, Atiku Vows to Sack “Corrupt, Disastrous” PDP

The Retired General Muhammadu Buhari, the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the Governors of Kano, Yobe, Zamfara, senators, members of House of Representative and the state assemblies all under the All progressive Congress (APC) have unanimously agreed to Team up with the rest of Nigeria to vote PDP out in 2015 elections. The top brass of the APC have described the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) as “corrupt, disastrous and clueless government”.
